This page contains the privacy protection of the applications Polyomino Solver Demo and Polyomino Solver Pro.
We have control over our implementation and which data we transfer and use. The data that the operating system collects and transfer is out of our scope and we don't know and don't have any influence about this.
As company we have the following philosophy about the privacy protection:
If the application runs into an exception the Stack-Trace will be written with a date and time into a log-file. This log-files can be send with the Menu-Item "Send support EMail" to the address support@itsksoft.de. The prepared EMail contains informations about the Software-Versions and the used Hardware (Application name and version, Mobile model, Mobile manufacturer, Operating system version, Main memory, Number of processors and Screen resolution)). A zip file is attached to the EMail and contains the compressed log-files. The informations about the Software and Hardware can help to reproduce and correct the application failures. The user can add describing text to the failure situation. The EMail address can be used by the support team to ask questions and clarify the failure case. If the case is closed the EMail-Address will be removed after a view working days. The contents of the EMail with the information about the Software versions and the Hardware and the log-files can be used without personal data internally afterwards (e.g. A ticket system).
The data will be transmitted over the internet and will be stored electronic and no method is one hundred percent secure. We use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, but we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

The user can take the following steps to delete his personal data:
If the user sends an EMail to the address info@itsksoft.de or support@itsksoft.de with the notice that the user wants to delete the personal data, the EMail-address will be deleted in a view working days. If we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws we store the data as long as required.
Several actions at the application (e.g. Export figure, Import figure, Create backup, Restore backup) needs access to one or more directories. The user will be asked for the access rights. The access rights can be accepted ones or permanently, or the user can cancel the action. This actions are optional and the application can be used without this actions. If files are read (Import figure / Restore Backup) one file from the directory is selected and the application tries to import it (if possible). If a file is saved (Export figure, Create backup etc.) it will be checked if the file name already exists and the application will be asked for confirmation if a file should be overwritten. In both cases no other analysis of the files will be done.
Hint - Limit access rights:
To limit the access rights of an application it make sense to create one or more directories and accept the access rights for the application to this directories permanently. Before the start of the application and after the application is finished the user can fill or delete the directories.
We change the privacy protection from time to time. We inform the user of the changed privacy protection on this page and change the Date "Last changed". We inform in the application about the changed privacy protection. You should inform yourself about changes to the privacy policy periodically. Changes about the privacy protection are effective, when they are posted on this page.
